Complete restoration of antique or modern instruments can be carried out. Alternatively an extensive overhaul which might include new wooden jacks to replace plastic ones, and new registers. Restoration is carried out in accordance with the highest princples of reversibility and respect for the original makers intentions.

Assessments of harpsichords or clavichords with a view to restoration, purchase or disposal can be made either in the workshop or on site. This is usually followed up with a suitable report and advice.

Complete re-stringing and re-voicing can be undertaken in the workshop or occasionally on site. This can include the calculation of a new set of strings and appropriate wire for instruments with non-standard scales can usually be found. Re-voicing can be in either Delrin or real quill, normally goose. Feathers of other birds are sometimes available. Over-wound strings can be calculated and supplied.
